Raising Human Beings:
How to Parent Little Kids with Big Feelings
You have the ability to help your little kids with their big feelings.
This course is for you if:
You want to be a gentle, conscious, and intentional parent but you aren’t sure how to start or feel skeptical about if this type of parenting really works!
You are trying to parent differently than you were raised, but don’t know where to start.
You want to understand what behaviour is normal for your kids ages 0-5.
You want to understand WHY your child behaves the way they do.
You are unsure of how to respond to your child when they are hitting, biting, yelling, or engaging in other behaviours that can feel really challenging!
You have a baby and want to plan ahead so that you can proactively parent your child!
There are many parenting courses out there. This course is different.
I won’t promise you “no more meltdowns” or “no more behaviour,” because the research tells us this isn’t possible or effective. I won’t teach you “quick fixes” that don’t work in the long term, and that set you up for feeling guilty and ashamed of your parenting.
Instead this course will help you:
- Gain a deeper understanding of your child’s meltdowns, behaviours, and feelings.
- Work through your own triggers and childhood experiences.
- Know how to navigate the moments of chaos, and bring more calm into your home.
- Parent from a place that is rooted in unconditional love for your child.
- Learn the 5 C’s to navigating big behaviours and big feelings in little kids.
Start parenting in a way that feels good today.

Q & A: Common Questions Answered!
Hey friend! I’m Jess.
I am a mother, wife, registered psychotherapist, and I run Our Mama Village.
As an undergrad student, I studied Adult Development, Families and Well-being. It became clear to me early on that I would spend my life dedicated to working with parents and families. I completed a master’s degree and thousands of clinical hours supporting parents and their children. I worked in family homes one-on-one with parents, showing them new ways they could help their kiddos and restore peace. I also worked with hundreds of parents through groups, presentations, and one-on-one clinical sessions.
I’ve seen the struggles families face, and know the realities of parenting children with BIG feelings. I know how confusing, frustrating, and sad it can feel when you don’t know how to respond to your child. The tools I teach are practical, research-based, and effective in supporting your child’s emotional health and calming challenging behaviour.
The information I will teach you in this course is a collection of all that I have been training to families for years.
You don’t have to feel alone in helping your kids with their big feelings anymore. This course will be your guide. I’m here. I am ready to teach you these tools, so that you can change your home.
Are you ready?
