Our Story

The journey into motherhood opened our eyes to an area of mental health that needs to be talked about.

Advocate for mothers and their mental health.

During pregnancy, I had countless checkups and was assessed for everything related to my physical health. Mental health was never talked about during these appointments. After having my daughter, I thought anxiety was just a normal part of being a mom. I often wondered if I would always feel overwhelmed, if I would ever sleep again, and if all moms felt the same way. After months of keeping these struggles to myself, I decided to research these feelings. In this research, I found out my struggles could be resolved, and there was help out there. I was also surprised to learn that 1 in every 7 women are diagnosed with a mental health issue after having their baby.

After receiving help, I started to love my new role as a mother. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I felt empowered, and excited by this new journey in life. As a mental health therapist, this journey inspired me to make sure that other women do not struggle in silence.

This site will provide greater education and advocacy for moms, and their mental wellbeing. We want to provide a safe space where moms, and everyone that supports them, can connect and feel encouraged.

Our Mission

Advocate For Mothers

Moms deal with a lot, and sometimes it can feel difficult to go on. Maternal mental health is something not spoken about enough yet. We plan to change this by advocating for moms everywhere.

Provide Relevant Education

The more we talk about the difficult issues that moms-to-be, new moms, and families commonly struggle with, the better we can support one another.

Help Moms Connect

Many moms struggle in silence with feelings of guilt, shame, anxiety, and depression. Let’s open the conversation on difficult topics by sharing real stories from families who have gone through similar experiences!

Team Members

Our team is dedicated to advocating for moms everywhere. In order to make the importance of maternal mental health known, we have interviewed experts in the field, talked to mothers and their families, and reviewed the most recent research in the field.
